Crystal Gears® (CG as short) is a new next generation desktop digital recording system like no other before. By being widely compatible with most popular telephony communication platforms, CG is the first recorder around the world that is capable for capturing interactions from traditional circuit-switched telephony environment to VoIP telephony without any hardware upgrade (only available for soft phone and SPAN to PC embedded VoIP phones) or extra licence.

Crystal Gears reverses the image of traditional call recording and monitoring as no complicated site deployment and expensive investment are required any more. By simply installing CG software into your laptop or desktop PC, both installation and Maintenance are fully automated. All functionalities for traditional recording & monitoring system will be empowered, more than that, by interconnecting with Crystal Centralised Management® system, it helps you build a distributing recording system by ignoring the geography gap.

Benefit from Multicasting technology incorporated into Yealink SIP End Point devices, VoIP content can be delivered as multicast stream direct from the Yealink Device, which means that you don't need an extra Hub for packet sniffing and therefore saves costs and is easier to deploy.

CG decodes all kinds of VoIP protocol and extracts phone on/off hook events which will be translated into call recording trigger/stop message, as well as call information like Caller/Called ID, Call direction, Call Parking for future search and data resource of QM application.

Once a call is made or received from the chosen Yealink device the CG Software Desktop client changes as per the image below:

During the call you can click on the Annotate button and add specific notes to the call as shown below:

Immediately after the call is ended the call is logged into the CG Desktop client "player" application as shown below:
